CIRI’s Randy Rapp Awarded Professorship at Purdue University

Randy AppCIRI congratulates Science Advisory Council member, Prof. Randy Rapp, D. Mgt, P.E., C.C. P. of Purdue University Polytechnic Institute, for his appointment Restoration and Reconstruction Professorship in Construction Management Technology. This appointment reflects his work and leadership in the field of building restoration and reconstruction.


A recognized educational leader in disaster restoration and reconstruction, Rapp has documented success in an assortment of progressively more sensitive and complex construction and engineering supervisory leadership and managerial positions in both operational and support functions.


Rapp has presented innovative restoration research, along with his doctoral degree candidates, at CIRI's prior cleaning science, restoration and research symposium. In part, his position in disaster management technology has been supported and funded by private donations from a coterie of disaster restoration industry leaders. He’s served in CIRI’s Science Advisory Council since January 2020.
