CIRI Selects Venue For 2008 Cleaning Science Symposium

Albany, NY - (August 27, 2007) - The Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI) announced today that it will hold its 2008 Cleaning Science Symposium "inside the Beltway", at the Marriott Conference Center at the University of Maryland, just 12 miles from downtown Washington DC. The theme for the 2008 Symposium, which is scheduled for June 9-12, is Cleaning & Health - Making the Connection.

"Marriott has a created the ideal conference center for an event like the CIRI Symposium," noted Jim Harris, Chairman of the Board. "Not only does it offer a 750 seat auditorium and great hotel accommodations, but it is also concerned about health and the indoor environment. It is the nation's first conference center to be US Green Building LEED certified."

CIRI has arranged for rooms at the Marriott conference center, located in Adelphi, MD, as well as a number of hotels nearby. Marriott has created a special website for the event and is ready now to take reservations.
